And now.... there are ducks...

Sometime last week, the ducks showed up at the middle school. One of the students had hundreds of them in a clear plastic case.

I received three ducks that first day. Another duck showed up this week.

Are my ducks in a row?

Far from it.

Most days, the ducks lay sideways or scattered on my changing desk. I try to keep up with the administrative stuff (grades, email, the group chat app, the Google classroom, and the Sycamore grading portal) and the classroom stuff (lessons, planning, class prep, and the teaching itself).

The ducks scatter and regroup throughout the day. At the end of Week 3, I still have four ducks, but they are NOT in a row.

I thought that was a Jeep owners thing, those random ducks appearing. If I were you and those ducks will float (and float upright), I'd get a little bowl or glass and let them bob around in the water. That way they will at least be contained. You can work on getting them in a row later on if that's your goal. 😉

Hmmm....I haven't tried floating them. I'm sure the sixth grade boys would love rocking that water dish! 😂
